Rachael has been painting and drawing as long as she can remember. She grew up in a little town called Te Puke with a mum who worked as an art teacher and was surrounded by creativity. Over the last decade, Rachael has completed various art courses and experimented with different styles and mediums. Rachael mainly paints impressionistic and abstract pieces and draws inspiration from the colours and forms surrounding us in nature. Her current works are inspired by light shining through tree canopies and the symbolic nature of light as hope during dark and turbulent times.
