Robin’s paintings and artworks tell stories and the visual use of words are often an important element in the way these stories are told. Robin’s starting point can be from either a literary or a musical source (usually poetry or classical music). These are then combined with a personal “life event” to produce an artwork that is multidimensional, metaphorical and full of memorable detail. Although the “life event” details are often visually recorded Robin focuses more on the emotional aspects of the stories.
