As an artist and a garden designer, Tony loves to apply himself creatively to living spaces. He considers a bland landscape to be a blank canvas on which to create something of interest and beauty.
Tony has created two legacy gardens at the Tauranga Racecourse. The first of his gardens is a little quirky, “I just pulled back the lawn turf to reveal the amazing variety of hydrangeas available and the gorgeous, easy care display they can produce with little effort. Simple and elegant.” The second of Tony’s gardens takes engaged observers on a miniature journey in a very small space and upon discovering the installation leaves a question to be answered. There are some useful design elements and ideas to take away as inspiration too.
At Bespoke Garden Designs Tony’s desire is to help clients imagine beautiful outdoor places that reflect their individual tastes and preferences. He then works to develop the vision and turn it into reality. As ‘The Constant Gardener’ he is available to tend those gardens, so that they are always at their best, providing pleasure and enjoyment to be shared.
