Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Bloom in the Bay

Nichola Vague – Zones Landscaping

Continuing the work from the 2020 festival garden space, the owners’ circle and surrounding landscape is further developed to create a high end racecourse aesthetic. The landscape includes use of manicured lawns, camellias, rhododendrons and seasonal interest through petunias which are predominant in the existing gardens. The covered owners’ area is developed to include a green space for photo opportunities.

Nichola has over 25 years’ experience in the landscape industry after graduating from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons). Her experience includes design and project management of projects in the residential, commercial, resort and large scale urban planning market throughout New Zealand and the Middle East.

Nichola’s and her team’s goal is to use their combined skills and experience to provide personalised landscape design, build and maintenance solutions that inspire and exceed their clients’ expectations. With the greatest reward seeing her clients using and loving their properties once works are complete.
