The official map for the 2025 BOP Open Studios
We’ve created an interactive map to explore the incredible line-up of artists opening their studio doors across the Western Bay of Plenty and Tauranga regions. Whether you’re planning your full weekend adventure or just popping into a few favourites, this map will help you find each participating location with ease.
Let the art trail begin!

We’ve got you covered with two downloadable PDF map options:
- Standard version – easy to view on your computer or tablet.
- Foldable leaflet version – designed so you can print it at home and fold it into a handy, pocket-sized guide for the weekend.
How to use the interactive map
On the left-hand side of the map, you’ll see the list of artists.
- Click on any artist’s name, and their details will open up.
The map will also move so you can see exactly where their studio is.
To explore the map itself:
- Zoom in or out: Use your mouse scroll wheel.
- Look closer at an area: Hover your mouse (the hand icon) over that part of the map and scroll in.
- Move around: Click and drag the map to focus on a different area.
On a mobile phone:
- The list of artists is collapsed at the bottom. Tap the text “Driveable Trail Numbered 1 – 73” to open the full list.
- When you’ve clicked through to an artist, use the left arrow (top left corner) to go back to the main list.
It’s that easy — play around with the map and you’ll quickly get the hang of it.
