Paula Knight has a background in watercolour botanical painting and now paints mostly NZ coastal sea/landscapes in acrylic. “I love the space between land and sea…the coast, with a focus on native plants,” she enthuses. Recent works feature larger-than-life, colourful native flowers, plants, birds and butterflies – a follow-on from her tropical plant series. “I care deeply about our precious native flora and fauna and want to celebrate its uniqueness and diversity.”
