This full-time artist is recognised for living life loudly through the use of three different art mediums, namely encaustic, cold wax and acrylic, which add structure, depth, movement and texture to her bold, colourful works. Nothing excites Sue more than taking up her brushes and directing energy into every stroke. It’s a slow process of building up the image, which absorbs her completely. Sue’s images are influenced by the sea and/or botanic forms and colours. Sue’s art will be for sale during the festival as well as plants from her garden.
