Rob McGregor – Rob McGregor’s Home Studio (Stop 56)

Rob McGregor has been a professional artist since 1999, living and working from his home opposite the ocean in Mt Maunganui. A former art teacher and national Art Adviser, Rob has spent decades supporting creative education, developing art resources, and consulting on curriculum. His work spans acrylics and mixed media, and his paintings are held in private collections across the globe.

Alongside his late wife Joanne, Rob ran popular art retreats in New Zealand and abroad and was featured in the television series Colour in Your Life. His home studio is informal and intimate. It is a creative space where visitors can browse works displayed throughout the lounge, explore art books, and take in views of the Pacific Ocean from the deck where he paints.
