Ulemj Glamuzina – Ulemj Glamuzina Studio (Stop 37)

Ulemj Glamuzina is a contemporary mixed media artist whose work exists in the space between abstraction and figuration. Known for her emotive portraits and dreamlike landscapes, Ulemj’s process is layered and intuitive, blending delicate mark-making with bold, gestural strokes. Her paintings explore themes of memory, identity, and vulnerability, often revealing as much through texture and rawness as through the subject itself.

Drawn to the expressive and imperfect, Ulemj creates from a tranquil studio nestled among lush native vegetation in Welcome Bay. With views overlooking Tauranga Moana and Mauao, and the soft sounds of a nearby fish pond, the space offers a quiet sense of retreat and reflection, qualities that are deeply present in her art.

Visitors are invited into this calm, elevated studio environment to experience her latest body of work and gain insight into her layered, expressive practice.
