Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

Marlene Shores Art Studio – Frith Art

Marlene brings gourds to life through intricate carving, painting, dyes, and other embellishments. In her quest for inspiration, she took pen to paper, giving birth to “Inzentaion” (in Zen you imagine). What initially began as practice to decorate gourds transformed into an independent art form. Marlene embarked on this creative journey in 2020.

** Live demonstrations onsite Friday & Saturday at 1pm**
