Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

A Garden of Regional Significance

Hail a garden of regional significance, converted from a disused quarry. This incredible park is maintained by dedicated volunteers under the guidance of the Te Puna Quarry Park Society. Volunteers have created much magic to discover, from ponds, tree ferns, cymbidium orchids by the thousands, to native plantings, butterfly and herb gardens and an artistic feast of sculptures. This former quarry offers a day out in nature like no other. This year the park will host the Tauranga Ceramic Artists in the Gallery.
