Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

Tinkerbell’s Garden

Eight years ago, this three-acre garden was a wild, overgrown area. Gael and her late husband, Cedric, took on the task of clearing the land and transforming it into an ‘easy-care’ garden. Numerous trees have been planted along the way! Today, in the spring, the ground is blanketed with daffodils, and a winding pathway guides visitors to reflective ponds and further. This garden stands as a testament to Gael’s hard work and determination. At 83 years old, she continues to be a source of inspiration.
