Atmospheric landscapes dominate the work of Annie and Celia who regularly share studio time. Guided by intuition and a fascination with light, they use multiple layers of acrylic paint to achieve an intriguing depth of colour, energy and emotion. Subjects range from quiet and contemplative seascapes to dramatic landscapes and feature the everyday beauty of New Zealand, as well as memories of travels to exotic destinations. Both of these talented artists have exhibited in previous festivals
