The Bay of plenty Area of Floral Art will once again be holding their Designer of the Year competition in conjunction with the 2024 Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival. This two – yearly event brings the Floral Designers of the BOP together to compete for the prestigious title of “Designer of the Year.” This year’s theme is Floral Kaleidoscope.
Other competitive classes will also be staged: Period design – French Rococo, titled Pastel Hues; a contemporary design – titled Textured Patterns; and Floral Extravaganza will be the title of a floral headpiece with matching accessories.
** Special Feature: Four Impose classes held where several designers will be designing in front of an audience.
Time: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 10.30 – 12 noon with another session on Saturday from 1pm – 2.30pm
