Alison – Alison Art

Alison Brain creates original welded sculptures for both indoor and outdoor spaces, incorporating an intriguing mix of materials such as stone, wood, copper, and glass. Each piece is handcrafted and one-of-a-kind, balancing structure with organic form. In addition to sculpture, Alison also paints in acrylics, exploring colour and texture through a different lens.

Her creative process is spread across multiple spaces at her home studio in Welcome Bay, from welding in the garage to carving and sanding outdoors, and painting in the light-filled dining room. It’s a hands-on, physical practice that reflects her love of materials and making.
