Janet Fox is a mixed media artist with a love of texture and unusual raw materials. Tears, rips, splashes and imperfections are celebrated and she often uses the quote “perfectly imperfect “ to describe her work. Found materials often provide the impetus for her work, which are incorporated into her collage pieces.
Janet’s studio, affectionately known as The Den—is a sunny, light-filled lounge and dining space that transforms into an inviting creative hub during Open Studios weekend. She shares the space with fellow artist Lynda Soutar, offering visitors a chance to explore two distinct approaches to mixed media in one welcoming location.
