Jen Stewart (Stop 71)

Jen Stewart is a contemporary abstract expressionist painter based in Papamoa. Working mainly with acrylics, she creates vibrant, layered works using a mix of materials including pencil, oil pastel, and other media. Her paintings are driven by emotion and movement, often beginning with a spontaneous impulse and evolving through a combination of intuition and intent.

Jen’s process is dynamic and immersive, with each piece developing through bold marks, shifts in colour, and textured layering. The result is work that encourages you to slow down, look closer, and connect with the energy and emotion in each brushstroke.

Her home gallery is a dedicated viewing space with a separate entrance, offering visitors an intimate and thoughtfully presented art experience.
