Lynn Ross Ceramic Artist – Phos Gallery (Stop 49)

Lynn Ross is a ceramic artist whose organic, textured forms are inspired by the natural world. Working with heavily grogged clays, she hand-builds unique pieces that reflect her fascination with surface, shape, and earthy imperfection.

Each work is layered with slips, oxides, and glazes to evoke the layered beauty of nature, weathered rock, bark, sand, and soil. Lynn also creates a distinctive line of handmade beaded jewellery, crafted from her shared space at Phos Gallery in central Tauranga.

During Open Studios, she will be offering live demonstrations outside the gallery, giving visitors a glimpse into the textured, tactile process behind her ceramic work.
