Isaac Weston transforms reclaimed metals into contemporary artworks that explore light, texture, and patina. Drawing inspiration from natural patterns and processes, his evolving pieces evoke landscapes, water, and organic forms. Working from his Matua studio, Isaac creates distinctive sculptures and wall art that celebrate raw materials and their connection to the natural world.
His work has been featured in NZ House & Garden and Your Home & Garden (2023), is represented in galleries nationwide, and includes permanent installations in public spaces such as the Tauranga Historic Village, Te Puna Quarry Park, and the Tauranga Racecourse.
Nestled in the tranquil suburb of Matua, the Isaac Weston Art Gallery offers visitors a uniquely immersive experience. Inside, striking copper artworks fill the space, each piece carefully curated to showcase the beauty and versatility of reclaimed metal.
Outside, a sculpture garden unfolds through “outdoor rooms” where fruiting trees, vibrant flower beds, raised vegetable gardens, and a tropical gazebo create a series of inviting spaces to explore. The gallery and gardens together reflect Isaac’s commitment to blending creativity with the natural environment.
