Mandy Williams – Mandy Williams Art Studio (Stop 57)

Based in Mount Maunganui, Mandy Williams is known for her joyful, expressive oil paintings and her long-standing commitment to creativity and community. With a background in commissioned family portraits and children’s art, her newest body of work takes a bold turn. Embracing the retro charm of Palm Springs, the colour palettes of Slim Aarons, and the clean lines of David Hockney.

Working primarily in oils, Mandy’s paintings are fluid and refined, balancing polish with softness. Her latest series features sun-drenched hues, elegant figures, and nostalgic textures that invite the viewer into a world of leisure and light. Her compact, contemporary studio sits on the front lawn of her home, a creative hub where she works, teaches, and exhibits.

During Open Studios, visitors will be welcomed into this sunlit space to explore her latest series and learn more about upcoming art classes.
