Pamela Lines is an abstract watercolour artist whose work is deeply rooted in her environment at Waihi Beach. The sea, sand dunes, tides, and ever-shifting light serve as constant muses, infusing her paintings with a sense of energy, rhythm, and natural movement. Through fluid brushstrokes and expressive use of colour, Pamela captures not just what she sees, but what she feels. Inviting viewers to experience the coastal landscape in an intuitive, emotional way.
Her studio, nestled behind the garage and surrounded by garden, is a cherished creative space. Though compact, it holds the freedom and purpose Pamela brings to her practice. Here, she strives daily to honour her craft and continue evolving as an artist.
During Open Studios, Pamela will host a watercolour demonstration each day at 1pm and invites visitors to take part in a creative exchange by making and swapping Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), a playful and personal way to connect with fellow art lovers.
