Look for the Bayleys Scan & Win sign at each festival garden gate.

  • Scan the QR code and complete your full contact details the first time you enter.
  • At every garden after that, enter the garden number and the same name you used for your first entry.
  • Enter once at every different garden you visit. Each new garden gives you another chance to win.

The competition opens at 9.30 am on Thursday 19 November 2026 and closes at 3.00 pm on Sunday 22 November 2026.

QR scan instructions

  2. Point the camera at the QR code: Hold your phone so the QR code is clearly visible in the camera view. You don’t need to take a picture – just aim the camera at it.
  3. Wait for the notification: Your phone will recognise the QR code and show a notification on your screen.

Terms & Conditions
  1. The promoter is Success Realty Limited, trading as Bayleys.
  2. The competition opens at 9.30 am on Thursday 19 November 2026 and closes at 3.00 pm on Sunday 22 November 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.
  3. Entry is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who attend the 2026 Bay of Plenty Garden & Art Festival.
  4. Employees of the promoter, the NZ Garden & Art Festival Charitable Trust and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  5. To enter, scan the Bayleys Scan & Win QR code at a participating festival garden gate and complete the online entry form.
  6. Entrants must provide their full contact details with their first entry. At subsequent gardens, they only need to enter the garden number and the same first and last name used for their initial entry.
  7. Each person may enter once at each participating festival garden gate. Every different garden visited provides one additional entry in the prize draw. Multiple entries from the same person at the same garden will be treated as one entry.
  8. Entries must be complete, accurate and submitted by the entrant. The promoter may disqualify incomplete, duplicate, automated, fraudulent or unverifiable entries.
  9. The prize is one $500 Palmers voucher. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or replaced if lost or stolen.
  10. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries on Monday 23 November 2026.
  11. The winner will be contacted using the phone number or email address provided. The winner may need to provide proof of identity and eligibility before receiving the prize.
  12. The winner must claim the prize within two working days of being contacted. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within this timeframe, the promoter may draw another winner.
  13. The winner’s first name, surname initial and town or city may be published on Bayleys’ social media channels after the prize has been accepted.
  14. Personal information will be collected and used to administer the competition, verify entries, contact the winner and arrange delivery of the prize. Information will be handled in accordance with the Bayleys Privacy Policy.
  15. Receiving Bayleys property news, market updates or other marketing communications is optional and is not a condition of entry.
  16. The promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control affect its fair or safe operation.
  17. To the extent permitted by law, the promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed or incomplete entries, technical failures or any loss arising from accepting or using the prize. Nothing in these terms limits any rights available under New Zealand consumer law.
  18. The promoter’s decisions regarding entry eligibility, the draw and the awarding of the prize are final.
  19. Entry into the competition confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions.
