Yana Meech – Yana Meech Artist (Stop 6)

Yana Meech is a self-taught artist based in rural Katikati, where she paints from her home studio surrounded by animals and open skies. Working primarily in acrylic on framed canvas, her style ranges from contemporary landscapes to bold abstracts. Yana is especially drawn to creating moody, atmospheric pieces inspired by the ever-changing vistas outside her studio window.

Her work has sold across New Zealand and internationally, including in the UK, Scotland, Australia, and the USA. With awards including Best Overall Work at the Ellerslie Art Exhibition and multiple national showings, Yana continues to explore new techniques while staying rooted in the landscapes that inspire her.
