Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival

Garden & Art Trail

Art and Garden Pleasure

This established seaside garden is the result of 30 years of layering native trees and shrubs, tropical and edible plants. The garden sits on an old sand hill so is free draining and sunny. Colour and movement feature everywhere in this artist’s garden with intense pops of colour offered by the likes of strelitzia and hibiscus and light bouncing off shiny flax leaves and native grass. Large puriri, pohutakawa, nikau and kawhai trees frame the sea views visible from the studio and deck areas.

This garden has been featured in Your Home & Garden magazine
