Heather is a creator of sculptural felted pieces. The tactile and organic nature of wool suits the way she likes to work. She predominately uses the natural colours from Merino and Polwarth wool. Commercial and naturally dyed wool gives Heather’s work colour, with other natural fibres providing accent. The process of delicate fibres being transformed into firm 3D objects continually inspires her.
