Heather Wratt creates sculptural felted pieces. The tactile and organic nature of felting with wool suits her work. As a renewable and sustainable natural resource, wool fits well with her desire to be environmentally conscious. Plant dyes give her work colour, with other natural fibers providing accent. The process of delicate fibers being transformed into firm 3D objects continues to inspire.
