Bloom in the Bay

Hope Family Funerals | SUNDAY ONLY

For the first time, Hope Family Funerals is opening their beautiful gardens and unique venue as part of the Garden & Art Festival. Join them on Sunday only for guided tours of their gardens and facilities. Discover the spaces where they care for families and celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed. Theyโ€™re also hosting โ€˜Art, Grief & Making Meaningโ€™, with Masters-qualified Clinical Art Therapists Abbie McCall and Mara Takiwa. Drop into one of two of these creative sessions, 10amโ€“12pm or 1โ€“3pm, where itโ€™s all about exploring grief, loss, remembrance and change. You might make something to remember, to release, to carry, or you might simply follow your curiosity and see what emerges. No artistic experience is needed. A food truck will be on site throughout the day, serving coffee and food. Come for the gardens, the creative session, the coffee, or all of the above.
