Bloom in the Bay

SweetPea & Jasmine

Learn how to create your own garden filled with beautiful seasonal flowers, from seed to harvest. This workshop covers successfully germinating seeds, choosing the right growing medium, when to plant seedlings into the garden, and how to care for them to produce healthy, lush plants and plenty of flowers to enjoy and cut. Your tutor, Shontelle, has more than 30 yearsโ€™ experience as a florist and over 12 years growing cut flowers on her own flower farm. After returning from the UK and missing the wonderful range of English cut flowers, she began growing her own and eventually established a florist business. Self-taught in the art of growing cut flowers, Shontelle now loves sharing her knowledge and skills with others.
