Evelina Milward, Lynley Milward & Jayne Lydford – 38 May (Stop 53)

This warm and welcoming family studio brings together three generations of creative women, each offering a unique perspective and medium. Set inside a character-filled Mount Maunganui home, each artist will be exhibiting, creating an immersive gallery-style experience full of colour, texture, and inspiration.

Evelina Milward: Evelina is a Fine Arts student whose conceptual practice explores sculptural forms, textile materials, ceramics, and watercolours. Her work is grounded in themes of feminism, identity, and the body, drawing on lived experiences in the fashion industry and her academic studies.

Lynley Milward: Lynley is a mixed-media artist and creative director whose energetic approach fuses vibrant acrylics, digital prints, and found materials. Known for her large-scale, colourful works and a bit of creative chaos,  her bold aesthetic is playful and fresh.

Jayne Lydford: Jayne works exclusively in watercolours and has developed her skills through workshops, YouTube tutorials, and the Tauranga Society of Artists. Passionate about learning and sharing, Jayne offers private tuition and will be painting onsite during the event to share her process and tips with visitors.

This collaborative studio will have work for sale across a range of mediums, as well as refreshments and painting demonstrations throughout the weekend.
