Joyce van der Lely – the Artemist | Young at Art Studio (Stop 13)

Joyce van der Lely is a mixed media artist whose whimsical, illustrative work brings together reclaimed materials, intuitive expression, and an ever-curious spirit. Whether sculpting clay, woodburning driftwood, or crafting handmade journals, Joyce delights in the challenge of juxtaposing textures and ideas to explore deeper layers of creativity and self.

Her driftwood angels have become beloved keepsakes, often gifted around the holidays, while her studio is a dynamic space where both art-making and teaching come together. Joyce runs art classes and workshops from her home-based studio, which features a separate entrance and a cosy, hands-on atmosphere.

Visitors will find an inspiring mix of sculptural works, layered pieces, and creative curiosities, all woven through with storytelling, texture, and heart.
