Karen Miller – ART BY KAREN MILLER (Stop 39)

Karen Miller is an American-born acrylic painter now based in Maungatapu, Tauranga. Her work captures the quiet wonder of natural landscapes, sunlit trees, shifting skies, and the peaceful rhythm of the seasons. Through expressive brushwork and a sensitive use of light and shadow, Karen’s paintings evoke a sense of calm and reflection.

For Karen, painting is more than a practice, it’s a meditative space. Her studio doubles as a music room and gathering space, offering a warm and welcoming environment for visitors to enjoy her art in a lived-in, creative setting.

Expect to see a thoughtful collection of original works, each one inviting you to pause and reconnect with the beauty of the world around you.
