Michelle Clair is a painter and photographer with an international background, having lived and worked in South Africa, Zimbabwe, the UK, and now New Zealand. Her practice spans oils, acrylics, and watercolours, often exploring colour, detail, and expressive textures. Michelle also has a passion for portraiture and has previously taught adult art classes at Risingholme Community Centre in Christchurch.
Since relocating to Tauranga, she has continued to grow her artistic presence—most recently winning the Emerging Artist Award at the Tauranga Garden and Art Festival. She looks forward to welcoming visitors into her creative space during Open Studios.
